SEO Inspector is designed to run entirely on your device. It does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data.

What the extension does

When you click the extension icon, it reads the DOM of the active tab to compute an SEO report. This happens locally in your browser.
It requests the analyzed site's own robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and HTTP response headers directly from that site to display them to you.
It stores a small set of UI preferences (default tab, link behaviour) using Chrome's storage.sync API. These never leave your Google account.

What it does NOT do

No analytics, no tracking, no telemetry.
No data is sent to the developer or any third party.
No browsing history is recorded.
The extension contains no remote code; all logic ships in the package.
